In an unfortunate turn of events, the Whitecap reign came to an abrupt end as years of abusing the gentle softcaps took their toll. What started as a collective of shy disgruntled murmurs soon exploded into a full blown rebellion. The events were faithfully recorded by Laccaria Laccata and presented in the form of a pop-history series named "The Fall of Pleurotüs".
In her book, Laccaria Laccata goes into troubling accounts of forced labor, torture and genocide carried out by the shroom people of Pleurotüs. Among the symbols used by the rebellion is the toilet plunger, the rebels claiming that it bears a hilarious degree of similarity to the heads of their opressors - the Whitecaps. While the Whitecap reign ended with the fall of their capital, critics argue that the rebellion might not have been as righteous as portrayed by Laccaria Laccata, and that members of the rebellion share a sinister, yet ignorant complicity to a much darker and hidden agenda...
